A collage of five photos from a horse riding event. The first photo shows a young boy and adult on a horse, smiling at the camera with a cloudy sky in the background. The second photo features a woman and a boy inside a vehicle, both wearing hats and sunglasses, smiling. The third photo shows a girl on a horse wearing a helmet, and a woman beside her on another horse, both in a wooded area. The fourth photo depicts a man and boy on a utility vehicle with two dogs sitting inside. The fifth photo captures a girl in riding gear jumping over an obstacle in an equestrian competition.

Who we are

We’re a family of three humans, eight horses, and two dogs, lucky enough to call Scone our home.

Kevin grew up in Tipperary, Ireland, and has been riding since he was “knee-high to a grasshopper.” Claire, raised in Kilkenny, wasn’t from a horsey family (despite her best efforts to persuade her parents otherwise!) but found her way into the horse world as an adult. Together, our shared passion for horses has shaped much of our journey.

Back in Ireland, we ran a horse hire business in Kilkenny, caring for a yard of nearly 15 horses. In 2011, we made the move to Australia and, after several years in Sydney, our longing to be back with horses grew stronger. A polo school in Richmond, NSW, and we were hooked once again —and before long, we were living in Richmond and back in the horse scene.

We first discovered Scone during the Scone Horse Festival and instantly fell in love. With our six-week-old son in tow, we moved here to “try it out for a year”—the same thing we once said about moving to Australia. As it turns out, when we make a decision, we commit!

Nine years later, we’re proud to open the gates of Kiltulla Farm—a place where horse owners can find the kind of high-quality, high-care agistment we want for our own horses. Just 10 minutes from all the key facilities, Kiltulla Farm combines professional care with the warmth of a family environment.

We’re continuing to grow and add to what we offer, but we already have so much to share with our clients and their horses.

Get in touch today to chat about options and pricing—we’d love to welcome you to Kiltulla Farm.
